Teen Volunteers Needed for Summer Reading Program

The 2023 Summer Reading Program is just around the corner! This year’s all-ages program will run from Saturday, June 10th – Saturday, July 29th. Its theme “All Together Now” celebrates the many wonderful ways that libraries and reading bring us together as a community.

An integral part of the success of the Summer Reading Program is the fantastic contribution of our hardworking teen volunteers. Teen volunteers listen to youth participants report their reading and award their prizes based on how many books they have read during the program. Teen volunteers also help set up for special events like magic shows and juggling performances, as well as staff programs like craft days and the Stuffed Animal Sleepover!
