Slurry Seal Open House Monday October 6

Ever wondered what a slurry seal is? Now is your chance to learn. The preventative maintenance technique is used to seal small cracks and surface damage while protecting and extending the life of the existing asphalt road by 5 to 10 years. The City has slurry seal projects planned in the fall and winter months and wants to help educate the community on what goes into the process and what to expect.

Goleta Public Works is putting on a Slurry Seal Open House on Monday, October 6 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Goleta Union School District Boardroom (401 N. Fairview Drive). Drop by any time during the open house time.

If you are unable to attend, please reach out any time with questions. You can email pavement@CityofGoleta.org or call 805-562-5504. For more information go to www.CityofGoleta.org/Pavement.
